We imported frozen semen straws from three Castle Rock bucks in 2018 because of their great dairy genetics and their proven performance as sires. In 2021 we began to use some of these straws on our herd via the artificial insemination breeding program. These genetics have truely been a game changer in the improvement of mammary systems, general dairy characters and conformation. We thank Sarah Hawkins of Castle Rock Farm in California for selling us some of her bucks and does and having made the evolvement of this breeding program possible.
All our Castle Rock semen donors and embryo kids have tested negative to Myotonia carrier gene.
