A gorgeous high headed, elegant, deep, wide, long bodied doe with striking blue eyes and lots of dairy character. Her udder is soft, with a strong MSL, very good teat size and placement, with good lateral and rear attachments. The judge who gave her her third leg commented that even though Moon Beam’s udder was capacious, she moved around the ring like silk- she has plenty of width in the rear and doesn’t have to throw her legs to walk around that udder. She stood second at the National Show to the doe who was the Reserve National Champion, and was one of four does to get pulled out for the Best Udder competition. Like her dam, Moon Beam is quite the ham, though unlike her dam, she mutters under her breath– I think from trying to solve the mystery of how to fit herself into one of our pockets.
